Mayor Thomas reported that he had been contacted <br />by property owners whose property the Coastal <br />Water Authority needed to cross with a water <br />canal. Mayor Thomas stated the City had not <br />been contacted in any manner regarding the <br />installation of this line. He read the letter <br />he had sent to the Authority requesting them <br />to contact the City, a copy of the letter is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />+ + + <br />9. Comm. Boyle reported that he had received two <br />quotations for the additional heater for Station <br />One. They were as follows: <br />Velvet Air Sales $1,335.00 <br />Coastal A/C & Htg. 887.00 <br />Speed Limits <br />Established <br />On frontage <br />Roads along <br />Hwy.146 <br />Letter to <br />Coastal water <br />Authority re: <br />Easements for <br />water canal <br />Bids for <br />Heater at <br />Fire Station <br />Comm. Boyle stated the unit from Velvet Air Sales <br />was 300,000 BTU and the one from Coastal was 160,000 <br />and he recommended the smaller unit. <br />Motion by Comm. Boyle, seconded by Comm. Kibodeaux Bid awarded <br />to accept the bid from Coastal A/C & Htg. Motion to Coastal <br />carried by the following vote : A/C & Htg. <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />
