Emergency Special Meeting 2/9/77 2 <br />• <br />wishing to tie onto the sewer line would pay the front foot <br />fee to the City, this fee would then be paid to Chem lime <br />Corporation, until the initial cost was collected less the <br />front foot fee to Chem-Lime. Motion for approval with the <br />project being inspected by Busch, Hutchison & Associates, Inc. <br />Consulting Engineers. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline and Simons. <br />NAYS' None. <br />Mr. Patrick also stated that Chem-Lime Corporation would like <br />to purchase domestic and industrial water from the City, <br />approximately 2 million gallons per month. Commissioner Love <br />pointed out that this might hasten the day the City would be <br />forced to go to surface water. Motion by Commission Kibodeaux <br />seconded by Commissioner Simons to approve the sale of domestic <br />and industrial water to Chem-Lime Corporation with the proviso <br />that Chem-Lime install an electrically operated control valve <br />inside the facility and a manually operated control valve <br />accessible to city employees, in the event of an emergency <br />a city employee could shut off the water, Chem-Lime will also <br />not use industrial water at peak periods. Chem-Lime will run <br />the water lines to their facilities from the existing water <br />line at Crestlane and 16th Street at their own expense. <br />• Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Kibodeaux, Cline and Simons. <br />NAYS: Commissioner Love. <br />Harold P. Pfeiffer would like to place a gate across the <br />alley on his property. Motion by Commissioner Simons seconded <br />by Commissioner Cline for approval to erect the gate. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3.
