With recent <br />legislation assessing additional fees per cubic yard and more stringent <br />regulations on the operation of landfills, Sanifill has requested a rate <br />increase, as outlined below, and a one (1) year term that is renewable. <br />The rate structure is proposed as follows: <br />Base Price per Cubic Yard $2.15 <br />State Fee - Compacted Waste $0.33 / Cubic Yard <br />State Fee - Non-compacted Waste $0.10 / Cubic Yard <br />This structure results in an effective fee of $2.48/CY for compacted waste <br />and $2.25/CY for non-compacted waste. The term is for one (1) year. At <br />the end of the one year, the agreement will continue on a month-to-month <br />basis with the right of either party ~o terminate with 90 days written <br />notice. Additionally, the contract can be extended upon agreement of both <br />parties, with written notice of any proposed rate increases.
