<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Alton Porter at 6:00 p.m.
<br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Alton Porter, Councilmembers Chuck Engelken, Tommy Moser, Mike
<br />Clausen, Peter Griffiths, Mike Mosteit, Louis Rigby, Howard Ebow and Barry Beasley.
<br />Members of Council Absent: None.

<br />2. Reverend Bobbye Worsham of Second Baptist Church of La Porte delivered the Invocation.
<br />3. Mayor Porter led the Pledge of Allegiance.
<br />4. PRESENTATIONS / PROCLAMATIONS
<br />A. Mayor Porter presented a proclamation in honor of Cancer Awareness Months.
<br />Theresa Graves, Jay Dunham, Mildred Rosamond, Leroy Griffin, Olga Trevino, Chris
<br />Caruthers, Dorris Baker, Marjorie and Carl Steubing and several citizens were present to receive
<br />the Proclamation.
<br />Ms. Graves invited the Council to attend the relay for Life in April 2006.
<br />B. Mayor Porter presented a proclamation in honor of Constitution Week.
<br />Candice Pulleine and Imogene Pulleine were present to receive the Proclamation.
<br />C. Mayor Porter presented a proclamation to the La Porte Fire Department, Police Department, and
<br />Emergency Medical Services recognizing their amazing demonstration to the University of
<br />Texas MD Anderson Cancer Pediatric students.
<br />D. Mayor Porter recognized retiree David Darby.
<br />Mrs. Beth Darby accompanied Mr. Darby in receiving the recognition.
