<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.

<br />2. Reverend Danny Wayman of the First United Methodist Church of La Porte delivered the invocation.
<br />3. Mayor Malone led the Pledge of Allegiance.
<br />4. PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAIVIATIONS
<br />A. Pazk Place Commandry Number 106 Knights Templaz was scheduled to perform a flag presentation for
<br />the City; however, due to illness of members, there was no flag presentation.
<br />B. Mayor Malone presented the Red Ribbon Week Awazeness Proclamation to Joyce Sease and LPISD
<br />students.
<br />C. Mayor Malone read the proclamation in honor of RSDS Awazeness Week.
<br />5. CONSENT AGENDA
<br />A. Council to consider approving Minutes of the Regulaz Meeting and Public Hearing held on October 13,
<br />2003.
<br />B. Council to consider approval of a resolution certifying Bill Hang to serve as a member of the Board of
<br />Directors of Harris County Appraisal District as presented by Mayor Malone.
<br />RESOLUTION 2003-26 - LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION
<br />CERTIFYING BILL HARRY, NOMINEE TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF
<br />DIRECTORS OF HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
<br />C. Council to consider approval or other action regazding a contract with Hunter Allied of Texas, Inc. in the
<br />amount of $34,905.00 and further authorizing $1,745.25 (5%) contingency to facilitate construction as
<br />presented by Interim Planning Director Nick Finan.
