COUNTY OF HARRIS ~ Notice is hereby given that the City of La Porte, Texas, will sell, at 10:00 A. ~. on the 15th day of November, A. D. 1957, at the City Hall, the following described property: The South eight (8) feet of Lot No. Twenty-Two (22), in Block No. Sixty (60), of the Town of La Porte, in Harris County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in the office of the County Clerk of said County, to which reference is here made for all purposes. Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk at the City Hall until said time on said date. The City shall sell the property to the highest responsible bidder, provided that the City reserves the right and power to reject any and all bids. The terms of such sale are as follows: The consideration shall be paid cash, and the Deed from the City shall contain a provision restricting the property to be used as a driveway only, for a period of not less than five (5) years. A copy of this notice of sale shall be posted in not less than three (3) public places within the corporate limits of the City of La Porte for a period of at least ten (10) days prior to the date of said sale.
