ORDINANCE NO. g~S AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT COLLEGE VIEW MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT HAS COMPLIED WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CITY OF LA PORTE ORDINANCE NO. 768 AND THAT THE CITY OF LA PORTE APPROVES THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH COLLEGE VIEW MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT PROPOSES TO ISSUE ITS BONDS~ AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, .Art.' 8280-381, ;Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, which act created Coll~ge View Municipal Utility District, provides in Sec. 13 that the district shall conform to and comply with all the 'requirements of 'Ordinance No. 768 of the City of La Porte~ and WHEREAS, Sec. l{.a) of said Ordinance No. 768 requires that when the district issues bonds they be issued under terms and conditions approved in writi~g by the Ci~y of La Porte~ and WHEREAS, on September. 15, ..1970, the Bo,ard",of Directors of Coll~ge View Municipal Utility District passed an Order author- izi~g issuance of "Coll~ge View Municipal Utility District Waterworks and Sewer System Combination Tax and Revenue Bonds, Series 1970,11, in ,the ~SJgr~gate amount of $6,OO,000~ and WHEREAS, a certified copy of said bond order dated September 15, 1970, .has bee'n submitted to the City. of La Porte: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION .oF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT: . Section 1. The City Commission of the City of La Porte hereby 'approves, the 'terms and conditions under which Coll~ge View Municipal Utility. District proposes to issue its bonds, styled "Coll~geView ,Municipal Utility District Waterworks , ' and Sewer System Combination Tax and Revenue Bonds, Series 1970, II as set out in said bond order dated September 15, ,1970., Section 2. Nothi~g herein contained shall constitute consent to the sale of any additional remaini~g bonds, or the issuance ofrefundi~g bonds , ,without the prior consent of the 'City of La Porte. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
