<br />.: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 884 <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />, Page 3. <br /> <br />amended, to hereafter read as fo~lows, to-wit: <br /> <br />"(a) The minimum charge for business and commercial <br />establishments in the city where garbage and trash is <br />picked up twice a week shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) <br />per month, except where the proper operation of a <br />commercial or business establishment requires daily <br />(Saturdays and Sundays excepted) pickup, in which case, <br />the minimum charge for such establishment shall be <br />Nine Dollars ($9.00) per month. <br /> <br />"(b) Subject to the foregoing minimum charges for <br />business and commercial establishments, the following <br />formula shall be used to determine the monthly charge <br />for each user of a sanitation container furnished by <br />the city at a business or commercial establishment: <br /> <br />"Number of cubic yards furnished <br />x $1.00 per cubic yard <br />x number of pickups per week <br />x 52 weeks <br /> <br />= Monthly charge" <br /> <br />12 months <br /> <br />Section 7. The invalidity of any section or provision <br /> <br />of this ordiannce or of the changes hereby adopted shall not <br /> <br />invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. <br /> <br />Section 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 9. Any person, firm, corporation, association, <br />partnership, trustee, or any agent, servant or employee thereof <br /> <br />who shall violate any provision of this article, or any agent, <br /> <br />servant, officer or employee of any corporation who shall <br /> <br />direct any activities which shall result in .a violation of any <br /> <br />provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> <br />upon conviction shall be fined in an amount not to exceed Two <br /> <br />Hundred Dollars ($200.00). Each day of any such violation <br /> <br />shall be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 10. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately <br /> <br />upon its passage, approval, and publication.
