'8 87 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE II, OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CI~Y OF LA PORTE, BY CHANGING THE RESIDENT <br />SERVICE FEE FOR MOBILE HOMES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY",'THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. Sec. 14-20 of Article II of Chapter 14 of <br /> <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte is hereby <br /> <br />amended, to hereafter read as follows, to-wi~: <br /> <br />"Sec. 14-20. Resident service fee. <br /> <br />"Each mobile home park owner, in addition to any <br />other fees provided in this article, shall pay a <br />resident service fee of three dollars ($3.00) per <br />month for each unit in actual occupancy at the park <br />as of the first day of each month, and no later <br />than the 10th day of each month, each owner shall pay <br />the total fees and furnish the city a signed sworn <br />statement showing the number of occupied units in the <br />park as of the first day of that month. Such amount <br />shall be subject to a penalty of ten per cent (10%) <br />if paid later than the tenth of the month." <br /> <br />, Sec.tion 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately <br /> <br />upon its passage and approval.
