2015-3604 i <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 0`'1" <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE 2015-3591, CONCERNING <br /> CONDEMNATION OF BOTH THE ACCESSORY STORAGE BUILDING AND THE <br /> PRIMARY DWELLING LOCATED AT BLK 5, LOT 8, SYLVAN BEACH FIRST <br /> SUBDIVISION, LA PORTE; HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS MORE COMMONLY KNOWN <br /> AS 204 N. FORREST AVE.; CONTAINING A SEVERABLITY CLAUSE; FINDING <br /> COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE HEREOF. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte, passed and approved Ordinance <br /> 2015-3591 on August 24, 2015, for the purpose of condemning and ordering the removal of an <br /> accessory storage building and primary dwelling building, both situated on real property <br /> commonly known as 204 N.Forrest Ave.,La Porte,Texas. <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to passage of Ordinance 2015-3591 by the La Porte City <br /> Council, ABR PROPERTIES, L.L.C., the owner of real property and the accessory storage <br /> building and primary dwelling building situated thereon, located at the said 204 N. Forrest Ave., <br /> made contact with the city building official and presented a comprehensive plan,with engineered <br /> drawings,for the rehabilitation of the subject structures;NOW THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> Section 1. Ordinance 2015-3591, passed by the La Porte City Council on August 24, <br /> 2015, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br /> Section 2. If any provision, section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this <br /> ordinance, or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances is for any reason held <br /> to be unconstitutional,void or invalid,the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or <br /> their application to other persons or sets of circumstances shall not be affected thereby, it being <br /> the intent of the City Council in adopting this ordinance that no portion hereof or provision or <br /> regulation contained herein shall become inoperative or fail by reason of any unconstitutionality, <br />
