Such n0tice and such hearing were all in conformity with th~ Municipal Annexation Act of 1963, Ar~'icle 970a, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes. Section 4. The City Commission of the City of La Porte hereby institutes annexation proceedings as to the following described territory, and the same is hereby declared annexed to the City of La Porte, Texas, and the boundary limits of the City of La Porte, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, extended to include the following described territory within the City Limits of th~ City of La Porte, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of the . City of La Porte, and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privil~ges of other citi~ens of the City of La Porte, and they shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of La Porte; . The territory to be so annexed is the same territory as described in said Ordinance No. 899, and the territory to be so annexed is more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEING a tract of land out of the Richard Pearsall Survey A-625 and the Enoch Brinson Survey A-5, Harris County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: . BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the La Porte Municipal Airport said point being a corner in the present city limit of the City of La Porte, said point also being, situated in the South line of the present city limits of the City of Lomax; THENCE, South 890 36' East with the South line of the abovementioned city limit line of the City of Lomax to the Southeast corner of the City of Lomax; THENCE, North with the East city limit line of the City of Lomax to its intersection with the North right-of-way line of the T.&N.O. Railroad, said point being in the South line of a present 100' strip annexation of the City of La Porte; THENCE, Southeasterly with the North right-of-way line of the T.&N.O. Railroad and the South line of the abovementioned City of La Porte 100' strip to its intersection with the West right-of-way line of North Second Street said point also being a corner for the present city limits of the City of La Porte; .
