<br />. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9l5-J <br /> <br />~'. <br />o <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION l8-A-3 OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER <br />l,8~A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; <br />AND APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DOW CHEMICAL COMPANY DATED <br />JUNE 8, 1978, TO CONSTRUCT A SIXTEEN-INCH HYDROCARBON PRODUCTS <br />PIPE LINE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section l. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />has received an application dated June 8, 1978, from Dow <br /> <br />Chemical Company, requesting a permit under Section l8-A-3 <br />of Ordinance No. 915, being Chapter l8-A of the Code of <br /> <br />Ordinances of the City of La Porte, to construct a sixteen- <br /> <br />inch hydrocarbon products pipe line crossing the City of <br /> <br />La Porte, all as shown on said application. The application <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />of Dow Chemical Company has been reviewed by the City's <br /> <br />Director of Public Works, who has found that said application <br /> <br />meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has <br /> <br />recommended its approval. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby approves the application of Dow Chemical Company, <br /> <br />dated June 8, 1978, and this Ordinance shall constitute a <br /> <br />permit to Dow Chemical Company to lay and construct said <br />pipe line within the City of La Porte, all in conformance <br /> <br />with the requirements of said Ordinance No. 915. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Section 3.
