ORDINANCE NO. 9l5-M AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION l8-A-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER l8-A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS~ AND APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF AIR PRODUCTS AND CHEMICALS, INC., DATED NOVEMBER 16, 1978, TO CONSTRUCT AN EIGHT-INCH NITROGEN PIPE LINE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section l. The City Commission of the City of La Porte has received an application dated November l6, 1978, from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., requesting a permit under Section l8-A-3 of Ordinance No.. 9lS, being Chapter l8-A of the Code of .- Ordinances of the City of La Porte, to construct an eight-inch nitrogen pipe line crossing the City of La Porte, all as shown on said application. The application of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., has been reviewed by the City's Director of Public Works, who- has found that said application meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 9l5, and has recommended its approval. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte hereby approves the application of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., dated November l6, 1978, and this Ordinance shall consti- tute a permit to Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., to lay and .:~ construct said pipe line within the City of La Porte, all in conformance with the requirements of ~aid Ordinance No. 9lS. A permit for operation of said pipe line will be issued upon final compliance with all provisions of said Ordinance No. 915. Section 3.
