<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CSVB051 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY <br />The Project will begin at the Liverpool lOW valve located south <br />side of County Road 201 near Liverpool. Texas, in Brazoria County and lay <br />North to Houston Chemical Complex near Pasadena, Texas in Harris County. <br />The work consist of laying approximately 40 miles of 12.75w O.D. x .406w <br />w. X-65 ERW pipe in existing right-of-way and parallel to existing <br />pipelines. Construction to begin on or about December 1, 1988. <br />PRODUCT <br />The product to be transported will be Ethylene. <br />TESTING <br />Proposed hydrostatic test pressure 3800-4000 PSI. <br />OPERATING PRESSURE <br />Proposed operating pressure 1800-1900 PSI @65.0oF. <br />MATERIAL <br />The 12" pipe will be coated with extruded polyethylene, 50 mil. <br />field joints will be coated with approved tape using a hand wrapping <br />machine with 14# felt banded over the field joints. Holidays in the <br />coating and any mechanical damage to the coating will be repaired by <br />approved tape. <br />WELD AND X-RAY <br />The pipeline will be constructed to DDT regulations. Minimum <br />requirements shall comply with DOT regulations. Company will employ <br />ample inspection forces to insure quality work. All welders will be <br />required to qualify and 100% of all welds will be x-rayed. <br />BORED CROSSINGS <br />All road crossing, as shown, comply with the requirements of county <br />roads, F.M. Roads, state highways and interstate highway crossings. <br />The "wet borew method will be used to make the bored roads, streets <br />and other bores. <br />WELLS AND GATHERING LINES <br />No wells or gathering lines will be installed under this proposal. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1 <br />
