WHEREAS, the Area Manager; Houston Area Office of the Federal Aviation Administration, has determined. it to be in the interest of the United States of America that the Grant Agreement between the Regional Admin- istrator, Region II, of the Civil Aeronauttcs Administration, acting for and on behalf of the United States and the City of La. Porte, Texas (hereafter referred to as "Sponsor") accepted by said Sponsor on the 24th day of October 1957, relating,to the La. Porte Munici:pa1 Airport, Project No. 9-41-159-0801 be amended as hereinafter provided. . NOW THEREFOBE WITNESSETH: Tha~ in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the United States of America on the one part, and the Sponsor on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the said Grant Agreement shall be and hereby 'is amended: 1. By revising the description of the project as set forth in the second :paragraph, page 1 of the Grant Agreement, to read as follows: Pave WISE runway 75' x 3500' and construct segmented circle marker. 2. By deleting Special Condition 8(b) as set forth on :page ~ of the Grant Agreement. 3. By deleting the property Map Exhibit "A" incorporated into the Pro.1ec1; Application and Grant Agreement by reference thereto and substituting ., therefor the attached revised property Map Exhibit "A" dated November 3, 1968. ' It is understood and agreed that the maximum amount of the obligation of the United States payable under said Grant Agreement shall not be increased or decreased by this Amendment. " .
