Bored hole or tunnel <br />shall not exceed the diameter of the pipeline by more than one inch, and <br />shall extend the full width of the pavement and 10 feet on each side thereof. <br /> <br />Where encasement is not employed, additional protective measures must <br />include the following: <br /> <br />(a) Heavier wall thickness and/or higher factor of sa.fety <br />in design. <br /> <br />(b) Adequate coating and wrapping. <br /> <br />(c) Cathodic protection. <br /> <br />(d) other measures as required by Title 49, CFR, Part 192 <br />or Part 195. Minimum length of additional protectioo <br />shall be the same as that required by encasement. <br /> <br />Traffic control in utility work zones shall conform to applicable <br />specifications of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic control <br />Devices for Streets and Highways, Part VI. <br /> <br />This approval void if installation not complete within one year from <br />date of approval. <br /> <br />This permit issued subject to a traffic control plan which will be approved <br />by the Area Engineer or the person named on this permit. No work within <br />State right of way shall begin until this approval has been granted. <br /> <br />It is mutually agreed and understood that the implementation and maintenance <br />of the traffic control plan shall be the responsibility of the grantee <br />and the grantee shall indemnify and save harmless the State from any <br />and all damage or loss that may develop due to this project. <br /> <br />rod <br />
