Bored hole or tUl'Ulel <br />shall not exceed the diameter of the pipeline by more than one inch, and <br />shall extend the full width of the pavement and 10 feet on each side thereof. <br /> <br />Where encasement is not employed, additional protective measures must <br />include the following: <br /> <br />(aJ Heavier wall thickness and/or higher factor of safety <br />in design. <br /> <br />(b) Adequate coating and wrapping. <br /> <br />(c) Cathodic protection. <br /> <br />(d) Other measures as required ,by Title 49, em, Part 192 <br />or Part 195. Minimum length of additional protection <br />shall be the same as that required by encasement. <br /> <br />Traffic control in utility work zones shall conform to applicable <br />specifications of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic control <br />Devices for Streets and Highways, Part VI. <br /> <br />This approval void if installation not complete within one year from <br />date of app~val. <br /> <br />This permit issued subject to a tr~ffic control plan which will be approved <br />by the Area Engineer or the person nained on this permit. No work within <br />State right of -way shall begin until this approval has been granted. <br /> <br />It is mutucl1ly agreed and understood that the - implementation and maintenance <br />of the traffic control plan shall be the responsibility of the grantee <br />and the graQtee shall indeJmify and save haz:mless the State from any <br />and all'damage or loss that may develop due to this project. <br />
