It e ORDINANCE NO. 99-915-RR AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT ONDER SECTION 18-a-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION", BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATED NOVEMBER 25, 1975, TO CONSTROCT A 6-INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF ETHYLENE GAS AND A 10-INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF LPG; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has recei ved an application dated January 6 I 1999 I from SEADRIFT PIPELINE CORPORATION, requesting a permit under section 18-A-3 of Ordinance 915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, to construct and operate its 6-inch pipe line for the transportation of ETHYLENE and its 10-inch pipe line for the transportation of LPG, crossing the City of La Porte, all as shown on said application. The application of SEADRIFT PIPELINE CORPORATION has been reviewed by the City I s Director of Public Works, who has found that said application meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its approval. section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby approves the application of SEADRIFT PIPELINE CORPORATION, dated January 6, 1999, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit to SEADRIFT PIPELINE CORPORATION to operate said pipe lines within the City of La Porte I all in conformance with the requirements of Ordinance No. 915, contingent upon its filing with the City of La Porte prior to commencement of construction, copies of its permits from the Texas Department of Highways and Transportation; Harris County; and the Harris County Flood Control District, Any future relocation of the pipe lines herein permitted I within the City, state, or County rights-of-way I shall be at the sole expense of permittee.
