<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCB NO. 98-915-PP <br /> <br />AN ORDZNANCB GRANTZNG A PERHZT UNDBR SBCTZON 18-.-3 OF ORDZNANCB <br />NO. 915, "PIPBLINE TRANSPORTATION", BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THB CODE <br />OF ORDINANCBS OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATBD NOVEMBER 25, <br />1975, TO CONSTRUCT A 3-INCH PIPB LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF <br />:NATURAL GAS; PROVIDING AN BFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />section 1. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of La Porte has <br /> <br />received an application dated July 6, 1997, from TEJAS GAS <br />CORPORATION, requesting a permit under section 18-A-3 of Ordinance <br /> <br />915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La <br />Porte, to construct and operate its 3-inch pipe line for the <br />transportation of NATURAL GAS, crossing the City of La Porte, all <br /> <br />as shown on said application. <br /> <br />The application of TEJAS GAS <br /> <br />CORPORATION has been reviewed by the City I s Director of Public <br /> <br />Works, who has found that said application meets all requirements <br /> <br />of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its approval. <br /> <br />section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />approves the application of TEJAS GAS CORPORATION, dated July 6, <br /> <br />1998, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit to TEJAS GAS <br /> <br />CORPORATION to operate said pipe line within the City of La Porte, <br /> <br />all in conformance with the requirements of Ordinance No. 915, <br />contingent upon its filing with the City of La Porte prior to <br /> <br />commencement of construction, copies of its permits from the Texas <br /> <br />Department of Highways and Transportation; Harris County; and the <br />Harris County Flood Control District. Any future relocation of the <br />pipe line herein permitted, within the City, State, or County <br /> <br />rights-of-way, shall be at the sole expense of permittee. <br /> <br />section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br /> <br />and after its passage and approval, and it is so ordered. <br />
