2 <br /> THENCE in a westerly direction along the north line of the North J Street Right-of-Way, <br /> a distance of 80' to a point being located at the northwest corner of the intersection of <br /> North 8th Street and North "J" Street Rights-of-Way, said point marking the southwest <br /> corner of the herein described tract; <br /> THENCE in a northerly direction along the west line of the North 8th Street Right-of-Way, <br /> a distance of 735' to a point on the west line of the North 8th Street Right-of-Way <br /> marking the northwest corner of the herein described tract; <br /> THENCE in an easterly direction, across said North 8th Street Right-of-Way to-a point on <br /> the east line of the North 8th Street Right-of-Way marking the northeast corner of the <br /> herein described tract; <br /> THENCE in a southerly direction along the east line of the North 8th Street Right-of-Way <br /> a distance of 735'to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract. <br /> Section 2. The City of La Porte hereby retains for itself and its successors and assigns, a <br /> Public Utility Easement for existing water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer facilities located <br /> within the aforementioned North 8th Street Right-of-Way. <br /> Section 3. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites, and declares that a sufficient <br /> written notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br /> posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by <br /> law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas <br /> Government Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all <br /> times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, <br /> considered, and formally acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves, and confirms <br /> such written notice and the contents and posting thereof. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage and approval, and it is so <br /> ordered. <br />
