<br />'.'- <br /> <br />fII'" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />fII, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1033, Page 2. <br /> <br />returns of said election have been made by the proper officers; <br /> <br />that said returns have been canvassed by the City Commission <br /> <br />of the City of La porte; that a total of 1,334 persons voted <br /> <br />at said election, including persons voting on the regular <br /> <br />voting machines~ and on the absentee voting machine; that said <br /> <br />election has resulted in the election of the following named <br /> <br />person as City Commissioner, Position 2, to-wit: <br /> <br />I. J. KIBODEAUX <br /> <br />Section 2. The .City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby finds, determines and declares that no candidate for <br /> <br />Mayor, and no candidate for City Commissioner, Position 4, <br /> <br />received a majority of all votes cast for all the candidates <br /> <br />for each of said offices. Accordingly, pursuant to Section 12 <br /> <br />of the Home Rule Charter of the City of La Porte, a run-off <br /> <br />election shall be held on Saturday, April 24, 1976, at which <br /> <br />said election the two candidates receiving the highest number <br /> <br />of votes for Mayor, and the two candidates receiving the <br /> <br />highest number of votes for City Commissioner, Position 4, <br /> <br />shall be voted for again. <br /> <br />Section 3.
