The Electric Code of the City of La Porte, Ordinance No. 1254, Part 2., Section 6.09, of the Code of Ordinances City of La Porte, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wi~: 6.09 Service Disconnect. Service disconnecting means shall be located so that the height of center of the operating handles shall be not less than four (4) feet and not more than six (6) feet above the floor of the finish grade, except as installed in free standing or building type switchgear build to NEMA speci- fications. Section 5. The City Council officially finds, deter- mines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subj ect of this meeting of the City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by law preced ing this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated: and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subj ect matter thereof has been discussed, considered and formally acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting thereof. Section 6.
