<br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />Ordinance No. <br /> <br />, Page 2. <br /> <br />"All subsequent appointments of all members <br />shall be for three year terms. <br /> <br />"The term of each member shall terminate on <br />April 30, or when his successor has been <br />appointed and qualified." <br /> <br />Section 4. Section 2-20 of the Code of Ordinances of <br /> <br />the City of La Porte hereby amended and shall hereinafter read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"Section 2-20. Ele'c'ti"on. 'o'f. Vi"c.e-'chai'rtnan <br />and 'S'ecr'e't'ary <br /> <br />Planning and zoning commission shall elect a <br />vice-chairman and secretary from its member- <br />ship. " <br /> <br />Section 5. Sub-section (3) of Section 2-21 of the Code <br /> <br />of Ordinances of the City of La Porte is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- <br /> <br />flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such con- <br /> <br />flict only. <br /> <br />Section 7. The City Council officially finds, deter- <br /> <br />mines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice <br /> <br />of the date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the <br /> <br />......., <br /> <br />City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at <br /> <br />the City Hall of the City for the time required by law pre- <br /> <br />ceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Ar- <br /> <br />tic1e 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and that <br /> <br />this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at <br /> <br />all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter <br /> <br />thereof has been discussed, considered and formally acted upon. <br /> <br />The City Council further ratifies, approves and confirms such <br /> <br />written notice and the contents and posting thereof. <br />Section 8. This Ordinance shall be effective from and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />after its passage and approval. <br />
