<br />. . <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1227 <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE ALLEYS <br />IN BLOCK ELEVEN HUNDRED TEN (1110), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, <br />HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said alleys in Block Eleven Hundred Ten (1110) <br /> <br />of the Town of La Porte have never been opened or used as public <br /> <br />thoroughfares, and the public utilities now making use of such <br /> <br />alleys have all given their written consent for their closings; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte has de- <br /> <br />termined and does hereby find, determine and declare that the <br /> <br />said alleys are not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public <br /> <br />~ as public alleys, and should be vacated, abandoned and permanently <br /> <br />closed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The alleys located in Block Eleven Hundred Ten <br /> <br />(1110) of the TOWN OF LAPORTE, Harris County, Texas, are hereby <br /> <br />premanent1y vacated, abandoned and closed by the City of La Porte. <br /> <br />Section 2.
