OF A City of La Porte Planninjs and development department 4 Established 1992 Tim Tiatj—, Oiractor war City Of La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission Agenda Notice is hereby given of a Regular Meeting of the La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission to be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 6:00 p_m_ at City Hall Council Chambers, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, regarding the items of business according to the agenda listed below- IL- Call to order. 2_ Roll call of members. 3_ Consider approval of meeting minutes: January 21, 2016 Meeting. 4_ Consider a request by Stripes LLC for approval of a waiver to the city's Design Guidelines (Exterior Fa4ade Materials) as outlined in Section 106-928 of the Code of Ordinance for the proposed Stripes Gas Station and Convenience Store proposed at the southeast corner of W_ Main Street (Spencer Highway) and Bay Area Boulevard (Sens Road). 5_ Consider a request by Liberty Property Trust for approval of a waiver to the city's Design Guidelines (Exterior Fa4ade Materials) as outlined in Section 106-928 of the Code of Ordinance for the proposed warehouse distribution facility at 1801 S. 16th Street (southeast corner of S_ 16— Street and Export Drive)_ 6. Consider a request by Liberty Property Trust for approval of a major development site plan for a proposed warehouse distribution facility at 1801 S. 16th Street (southeast corner of S_ 16th Street and Export Drive). 7_ Open a public hearing to receive input on proposed modifications to Ordinance No. 1444, more commonly known as the City of La Porte Development Ordinance, regulating review process for subdivisions, site plans and other development -related requirements and codifying the regulations as part of Chapter 86 of the City of La Porte's Code of Ordinances. a. Applicant Presentation c_ Public Comments (for, against, or questions) d_ Question and Answer 8_ Close public hearing. 9_ Consider a recommendation to the La Porte City Council on the proposed modifications to Ordinance No. 1444 and the codification of those regulations as part of Chapter SG- ILO- Administrative reports. 11. Commission comments on matters appearing on the agenda or inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy. 12. Adjourn. A quorum of City Council members may be present and participate in discussions during this meeting; however, no action will be taken by the Council.
