<br />~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />1178 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE ALLEY <br />IN BLOCK SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTEEN (716), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, <br />HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said alley in Block Seven Hundred Sixteen <br /> <br />(716) of the Town of La Porte has never been opened or used as <br /> <br />a public thoroughfare, and the public utilities now making use <br /> <br />of such alley have all given their written consent for its <br /> <br />closing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte has <br /> <br />determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />the said alley is not sui table, needed, or beneficial to the <br />public as a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and <br /> <br />permanently closed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The alley located in Block Seven Hundred <br />Sixteen (716) of the TOWN OF LA PORTE, Harris County, Texas, <br /> <br />is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by the <br /> <br />City of La Porte. <br /> <br />Section 2.
