<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1144 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, Page 2. <br /> <br />Section 4. Ordinance 1125 is expressly saved from repeal. <br /> <br />Section 5. The following sections of the Code of Ordinances <br /> <br /> <br />of the City of La Porte, Texas, are expressly saved from repeal: <br /> <br />Sections 10-1 through 10-5, inclusive; <br />Sections 10-15 through 10-27, inclusive; <br />Sections 10-45 through 10-52, inclusive. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Section 6. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions <br />of this code or fails to comply with any order made hereunder, or <br />who shall violate any detailed statement of specifications or plans <br />submitted and approved hereunder, or any certificate or permit <br />issued hereunder, or who shall fail to comply with any lawful order <br />of the fire marshal or duly authorized representative within the <br />time specified, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon being <br />found guilty shall be punished by a fine of not more than two <br />hundred dollars ($200.00). Each and every day a violation is <br />permitted to continue or compliance is not attained, or prohibited <br />conditions are maintained shall constitute a separate and distinct <br />offense. The application of the above penalty shall not be held <br />to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Section 7. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, or any <br />part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this ordi- <br />nance shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity shall <br />not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and it is <br />hereby declared to be the intention of this City Commission to <br />have passed each section, sentence, phrase or clause, or part <br />thereof, irrespective of the fact that any other section, sentence, <br />phrase or clause; or part thereof, may be declared invalid. <br /> <br />Section 8.
