The Code of Ordinances, City of La Porte, Texas <br /> <br />is hereby amended by adding a section, to be numbered 4-8~, which <br /> <br />said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />"Sec. 4-8~ '. Abuse of radio airways. <br /> <br />IIA11 holders of emergency ambulance operator's permits and <br />all employees thereof shall, when communicating via airways <br />also used by a City department, take care to see that all <br />communications are as brief, punctual and factual as the <br />circumstances may a11ow.1I <br /> <br />Section 6. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, or any <br /> <br />part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this Ordinance <br /> <br />shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity shall <br /> <br />not affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance, and it is <br /> <br />hereby declared to be the intention of this City Commission to <br /> <br />have passed each sect.ion, sentence, phrase, clause, or part <br /> <br />thereof, irrespective of the fact that any other section, <br /> <br />sentence phrase or clause, or part thereof, may be declared <br /> <br />inv1aid. <br /> <br />Section 7. Any person, as defined in Section 1.07(27), Texas <br /> <br />Penal, Code,: who s:h~ll violate any provisions of this Ordinance, <br /> <br />shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> <br />shall be punished by a fine not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars <br /> <br />($200.00). Each day that the violation continues shall con- <br /> <br />stitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 8. This' Ordinance shall be effective fourteen (14) <br /> <br />days after its passage and approval. The City Clerk shall give <br /> <br />notice of the passage of this ordinance by causing the caption <br /> <br />hereof to be published in the official newspaper in the City of <br /> <br />La Porte at Least'twice within ten (10) days after the passage <br /> <br />of this ordinance. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED, this <br /> <br />19th. day of <br /> <br />,July <br /> <br />1978. <br /> <br />CI~ <br />- .Hy -- <br />J.
