<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />mE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBUC HEARING <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of Section 106-171 of the Code of Ordinances of the City <br />of La Porte, and the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code, notice is hereby given that the <br />La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at, 6:00 P oM. on the 16th <br />day of March, 2000, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La <br />Porte, Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to consider rezone request #99-005, which has been <br />requested for the property described as 1R 8C & adjoining land out of TR 8A, BLK 2, W. J. Payne <br />Subdivision, known as Two Cajuns Restaurant located at 10003 Spencer Highway. The request <br />submitted by Zelda Wright and supported by Eddie Gray, Trustee, TRS 8A & 9A, W. J. Payne <br />Subdivision seeks to have the property in question rezoned from Multi-Family Residential (R.-3) to <br />General Comm~ial (Ge). <br /> <br />On the recommendation of the staff: adjoining properties on tract 8E (.7346 ac) known as be- <br />Petite-Bare-are=€enter and a 4.312 acres out of tract 8A, W.J. Payne Subdivision, Block 2, La <br />Porte, Harris County, will also be looked as a comprehensive rezoning to achieve orderly <br />development in conformance with the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission will follow the public hearing <br />for the purpOse of acting upon the public hearing items and to conduct other matters pertaining 10 <br />the Commission.
