. . .'... - . Ordinance No. 1392, Page 2. THENCE, Northerly along the said Easterly right-of-way line of Underwood Road, to the point of beginning. Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby directs the City Manager and City Departments to prepare a proposed Service Plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into each area to be annexed. The proposed Service Plan shall be made available for inspection and explained to the inhabitants of the area to be annexed at the public hearing. e Section 3. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby calls two (2) public hearings at which all interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard upon such proposal to annex the territory described above, which two (2) public hear- ings shall be held as follows, to-wit: (I) In the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 604 W. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, at seven o'clock P.M., on the 5th day of December, 1983~ and (2) In the College View Municipal utility District Offices at 8610 Bandridge, La Porte, Texas, at eight-thirty o'clock P.M., on the 5th day of December, 1983. e Section 4. The annexation proceeding of which notice of intention to annex is given by this Ordinance shall be instituted not less than twenty (20) days nor more than forty (40) days sub- sequent to such pUblic hearing. Section 5. The City Secretary of the City of La Porte is hereby direc:ted to cause notice of such public hearing to be given by pUblication of this Ordinance in The Bayshore Sun, a newspaper having general circulation in the City of La Porte and in the territory proposed to be annexed, such publication to be made at least once, not more than twenty (20) days nor less than e ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing.
