"t ..... . . . .. ......- ". :, ORDINANCE NO. 1381 AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY (830), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. WHEREAS, the said alley in Block Eight Hundred Thirty (830) of the Town of La Porte has nev~r been opened or used as a public thoroughfare, and the public utilities now making use of such alley have all given their written consent for its closing1 and WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci 1 of the Ci ty of La Porte has determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that the sa id a lley is not sui table, needed, or benef icial to the public as a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and permanently closed1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. The alley located in Block Eight Hundred Thirty (830) of the TOWN OF LA PORTE, Harris County, Texas, is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by the Ci ty of La Porte 0 Section 2. The City Council officially finds, deter- mines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public a t the Ci ty Ha 11 of the Ci ty for the time requ i red by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated1 and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered and formally acted upono The Ci ty Council further ratif ies, approves and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting thereof.
