<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. l355 <br /> <br />, Page 5. <br /> <br />(b) public liability insurance to the extent of <br />$50,000.00 for anyone accident, and $lOO,OOO.OO <br />for anyone person; and <br /> <br />(c) property damage insurance to the extent of <br />$10,000.00 for anyone accident, and $100,000.00 <br />in the aggregate. <br /> <br />Such insurance shall be written by an accredited company <br />under the supervision of the Board of Insurance Commis- <br />sioners of the State of Texas. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Evidence of compliance with the above insurance requirements <br />shall be considered as having been met when the policy, <br />a copy thereof, or a Certificate of Insurance has been <br />filed with and approved by the Chief Building Official of <br />the City of La Porte. Such policy shall include an <br />endorsement thereon that the Chief Building Official will <br />be notified at least ten (10) days in advance in the event <br />of the policy or policies being cancelled or expiring <br />before the expiration date of the license." <br /> <br />Section 13. A new section is hereby added to Chapter 8, <br /> <br />Article 2, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, <br /> <br />said section being numbered 8-29, which is to hereafter read as <br /> <br />follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />"Section 8-29. Southern Standard Plumbing Contractors - <br />Liability Insurance. No permit shall be issued for any <br />plumbing contract work, as said work is defined within the <br />Southern Standard Building Code, 1982 Edition, until the <br />plumbing contractor or his employer shall have arranged to <br />carry the following insurance: <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />(a) workers' compensation insurance on each and <br />everyone of his employees as required and in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Workers' <br />Compensation Act of the State of Texas; <br /> <br />(b) public liability insurance to the extent of <br />$50,000.00 for anyone accident, and $100,000.00 <br />for anyone person; and <br /> <br />(c) property damage insurance to the extent of <br />$10,000.00 for anyone accident, and $100,000.00 <br />in the aggregate. <br /> <br />Such insurance shall be written by an accredited company <br />under the supervision of the Board of Insurance Commis- <br />sioners of the State of Texas. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Evidence of compliance with the above insurance requirements <br />shall be considered as having been met when the policy, <br />a copy thereof, or a Certif icate of Insurance has been <br />filed with and approved by the Chief Building Official of <br />the City of La Porte.
