1325
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF
LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE TERM MAY 1, 1982 UNTIL APRIL 30, 1985
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF
Whereas Article 1025, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes
require the City Council to designate an official newspaper for
the publication of legal notices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS
Section 1. That the Bayshore Sun, a newspaper qualified
by law to publish legal notices and advertisemE;!nts, published
in Harris County, Texas, be and the same is hereby named and
selected as the official newspaper of the City of La Porte, Texas.
Section 2. That the right to terminate this designation is
hereby' reserved by the City Council of the City of La Porte,
Texas.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval, and it is so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2nd day of June, A.D. 1982.
