<br />.e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />I c,- ~3 <br />It!tJ I~- 6 f <br />. -' <br /> <br />R.ESOLUTION. . <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, recognizes' <br />the need to insure its proper and orderly growth and to prevent further <br />development of undesirable physical conditions, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS city planning is recognized to be of primary importance <br />for the further growth and development of the City of La Porte, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of La Porte has selected Bernard Johnson Engi- <br />neera- Inc., as planning consultants to prepare the city plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Texas State Department of Health, acting as the State <br />Planning Agency, can arrange for the needed planning and can arrange <br />for the financial assistance from Federal sources. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE B.E IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />La Porte, Texas, requests the Texas State Department of Health to <br />arrange for the following planning services~ Comprehensive Planning <br />of the Urban Area as a guide to the intelligent and feasible physical de- <br />velopment of the City and to arrange for financial assistance in the sum <br />of $ 8,440. 00 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of La Porte will make <br />available upon the request of the Texas State Department of Health the <br />sum of $ 4,810. 00 to aid in defraying cost of the requested stated plann- <br />ing se rvice. <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />. : ~,(S~Al,.) <br />__f ~~~""".. .
