For the purpose of paying the interest and principal on ~F2l,000.00 funded indebted- ness. For the purpose of paying the interest and principal on a $100,000.00 bond issue, for the construction of a sanitary sewer system $70,000,erecting a City Hall and Fire Station $10,000.00, extendin~ the present waterworks system $15,000, and paving certain streets $5,000.00. For the purpose of paying the interest and principal on $960.00 funded indebtedness. For the purpose of pay- ing ~e interest and principal on a $2,374.31 funded indebtedness. For the purpose of paying the interest and principal on an issue of $9,225.69 sewer warrants. Therefore, there is hereby levied a tax of five cents (.05) on the $100.00 valuation for the year 1934 to take care of the .int- erest and sinking fund for certain warranbs heretofore issued for street paving in the City of La Porte. There is hereby levied a tax of thirteen cents (.13) on the $100.00 valuation for the year 1934 to take care of the interest anCf . sinking fund for a $21,000.00 funded indebtedness. ( - There is hereby levied a tax of twenty cents (.20) on the $100.00 valuation to take care of the interest and prinCipal for the year 1934 on a thirty thousand dollar,$30,000.00 bond issue for the installation of a waterworks system. . ~ j j I There is hereby levied a tax of sixty cents (.60) on the $100.00 valuation to take care of the interest and principal for the year 1934 on a one hundred dllio.uaan(L" alolla1'o($iIlOO,OOO.OO) bond issu~ for the year 1934 for the purpose of installing a sanitary sewer system $'70,000.00,ereoting a City Hall and Fire Station :~10,000.00, extendin~. the present water system $15,000.00 and paving certain streets ~5,000.00, in the City of La Porte. There is hereby levied a tax of four and one half cents, (.04!) on the $100.00 valuation for the year 1934 to take care of the interest and principal on an issue of nine hundred and sixty dollars ($960.00) fUnding warrants in settlement of excess cost on the City Hall and Fire Station. There is hereby levied a tax of five cents (.05) on the $100.00 valuation for the year 1934 to take care of the interest and principal on an issue of two thousand three hundred and seventy . four dollars and thirty one cents($2,374.31) of funded warrants. The remainder of said assessment of one dollar and 50/100 ($1.50) on the one hundred dollar valuation of the taxable property ot' the Oi!;y ot' La Porte, Texas, amounting to thirty t'our and one ha1~ cents{.3~) on the one hundred dollar 'valuation shall be set aside t'or the cuerent expenses for the year 1934, s~ch current expenses meaning the repair ot' streets and bridges, salaries ot' all city em- ployees and all other expenses not provided for by the several bond issues. The foregoing assessments are based on the valuation of all taxable property in the City ot' La Porte, Texas, within it's 6ity limits, amounting to $1,112,487.00.
