<br />. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />_. _...... t. <br /> <br />.~ <br />J\ <br />~; <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 271A <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, PROVIDING <br />THA T THE CITY CLERK SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO ISSUE <br />THE PERMITS AUTHORIZED IN ORDINANCE SUBJECT TO <br />REVOCATION AT ANY TIME BY THE CITY COMMISSION. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COlVIM:ISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE, THAT: <br /> <br />Paragraph 2 of ORDINANCE 271, designated as "Section 2" therein <br />is amemded to read as follows: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That every person desiring to use or operate, or <br />cause to be used or. operated, any such instrument referred to in <br />Section 1 hereof shall first obtain, from the City Clerk of said City, <br />a permit to operate such instrument. The City Clerk shall issue <br />such a permit upon the form issued previously unless a change <br />is prescribed by the City Commission, said form containing such <br />provisions and conditions which in its discretion the City Commission <br />feels will promote peace and quiet inside the corporate limits of the <br />City. The City Commission shall have the right to revoke any permit <br />without notice when in the opinion of the majority such permit should <br />be revoked. However, no arrest shall be made after revocation <br />without reasonable notice to the permittee. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br />passage and approval. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6 zt day of January, 1964. <br /> <br />A 1J?jT:' <br />~~~~ <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />- ....--,.- -....-.- ,,\ <br /> <br />e <br />
