BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA
PORTE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Every person in charge of a vehicle, when
parking the same upon Main Street, between Broadway street and
I
. Fourth Street, in the City of La Porte, Texas, shall park said ve-
:/ hicle at an angle of !p proximately forty-five degrees with the cur ,
:1 and with the right front wheel of said vehicle not more than six
! (6) inches from sa.id curb; no vehicle, when parked at such an angl ,
shall have any pazt of same or any accessory attached thereto, or
anything carried thereon extending more than twenty (20) feet from
the curb line; such measurement to be taken from the curb, at a
right angle, to the farthest part of such vehicle, accessory, or
article carried th.ereon.
SECTION 2. No vehicl e shall be parked or 11ft standing
'on Main Street between Fourth Street and Tenth Street, or on Main
'Street between Brcadway street and Don~~dson Avenue, in the City
lof La Porte, TexaE, !when any part of such vehicle, or accessory

! SECTION 3. Any person violating the provisions of this

ordinance shall bEl deemed guilty of a misdemea.nor and upon convict
I ion thereof, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $100.00.

perati ve public nElcessi ty that the rule requiring Ordinances to be
read at three sevElral meetings be suspended and this Ordinance tak
