WHEREAS, the City Attorney ot the City of La Porte is a

Section 2. That the said Ernest A.. Knipp be paid, as I
compensation ror his services in said suit, a retainer ree in the I
sum ot One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) cash' and a per diem at the I

WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of La Porte is a
party defendant in the suit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners have decided that it
