AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 366 OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; REQum-
ING A BUILDING PERMIT FEE BASED ON TWO CENTS PER SQUARE FOOT FOR FLOOR SPACE
tINDER COVERAGE IN LIEU OF THE ONE DOLLAR PERMIT FEE REXtUIRED IN SAID ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COlmSSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
SECTION I: THAT, Ordinance No. 366 of the City of La. Porte in so

far as it pertains to the Building Permit Fee be amended, and it is hereby
lLmended, to read as follows: "On securing this information, it shall be the
duty of the Building Inspector or other authorized agent to issue a Building
Permit upon the payments of the sum of money equal to two cents (2~) per
square foot of floor space under coverage by said owner .

Section II, of said ordinance.
SECTION II: THAT, all portions of said Ordinance No. 366 of the
City of La. Porte in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
expressly repealed upon the effective date of this ordinance.
