AN ORDINANCE AWARDING SALE OF $50,000 INSTALLMENT OF
A $100,000 ISSUE' OF WATERWORKS AND SE~mR SYSTEM REVE-
NUE BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of La
Porte, Texas:
'That the proposal of Ernest L. Brown, Jr., Houston, Texas,

to purchase at a price of par and accrued interest, the follow-
ing described bonds, to-wit:
$50,000 City of La Porte Waterworks and Sewer System
Revenue Bonds, dated March 15, 1949, bearing interest
at the rate of 4% per annum, maturing as provided in
the ordinance,authorizing the issuance of said bonds
adopted by the City Commission of the City of La Porte,
Texas, on June 28, 1949, being numbered, I, 3, 5, 7,
9, II, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22,~, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40, 43,
46, 49, 50, 53, 5.4, 5-7, 58, --6.1, 62, 6~, 66, '69, 70, 73,
14, 77, 76, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 9.1,
92, 93, 94, and 95, and b'eing' a part' of the $'100, boo
installment of bonds authorized by said ordinance,
be and the same is hereby accepted. Said bonds shall be de-
livered to the said Ernest L. Brown, Jr., subject to the unqua-

lified approval as to the legality by the Attorney General of
Texas and ~uniclpal bond attorneys designated by the purchaser.
That the Attorney General of Texas is requested to approve
only the bonds above numbered out of the $100,000 in principal
amount of bonds authorized in said ordinance and to hold the
remaining $50,000 until further orders of the City Commission. ~
PASSED and APPROVED this 1ti day of. ~f~ 1; 1949.
