AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE AND DELIVERY OF $50,000 IN-
STALLMENT OF WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS,
SERIES 1949, OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La porte, Texas,
adopted an ordinance on June 28, 1949 authorizing the issuance of a
$100,000 installment of the $500,000 Waterworks and Sewer System
Revenue Bonds of said city which were authorized at an election
held on February 21, 1948, and by ordinance adopted August 9, 1949
awarded sale and authorized immediate delivery of $50,000 out of th
$100,000 bonds authorized in said ordinance but provided that the
remaining $50,000 should not be sold until further orders of the
