BE IT ORDAINED BY THE; CITY COMl'J1IS3.ION OF THE; CITY OF LA POR'lE.: SECTION Om.: On West Main Street from the east curb line of Fourth street to the west curb line of Broadway, and on Broadway from the south curb line of E Street to the north curb line of G Street, vehicles shall park in the spaces provided therefor, parallel witham not more than 18" from the curb on the right-hand side of the street in the direction in which any such vehicle is proceeding, and such parking sp~ces shall be desig- nated by lines or marks of a different color from the concrete painted on the surface of the streets, and shall be so laid out that there shall be one parking space for, at or near each installed parking meter. e SECTION T.-1O: Any violation of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed a misdemeanor, and aqy person convicted of any such violation shall be fined in the sum not exceeding Five Dollars ($5.00). /-._~- SECTIOI\f THREE: Any and all ordinances of the City of La Porte which are in conflict with any of the terms of this ordinance are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed. SECTION FOUR: If any part of this ordinance shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect ,the validity of any other part herein.
