AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 486 REGULATING THE RATES OF SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY IN THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: SECTION 1: The Metropolitan Service Plan of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, as described on the attached map delineating zone areas, and a chart setting forth interzone message charges, which map and chart are in- corporated herein by reference, is approved, effective upon completion of the installation of facilities and the activation of the Metropolitan Service . Plan for La Porte. SECTION 2: The Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, upon completion of the installation of facilities, and only when service is available to La Porte customers, is hereby authorized to apply the interzone message charges referred to in Section 1 above, and to charge for local exchange telephone service in the La Porte zone of the Houston Metropolitan Exchange, the following rates for the classes of service listed: Class of Service Monthly Rates . One Party Business, Flat Rate Business Extension, Flat Rate One Party Residence - Flat Rate Two Party Residence - Flat Rate Residence Extension - Flat Rate Commercial PBX Trunk Commercial PBX Station Semi - Public Service Guarantee, per day Local Messages Under Guarantee Local Messages Over Guarantee Coin Telephone Chg. per local Msg. Also, any future zone that may be established contiguous with the La Porte zone shall include calling with La Porte without the application of any message charge. SECTION 4: This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 486 applicable to the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and shall have the effect of repealing any part or portion of prior ordinances in conflict with the terms and provisions herein set forth, and shall be effective immediately upon passage and approval. .
