CUTION OF SUCH LEASE.
'IH~REAS, the City Commission of tbe City of La Portel Texas! did
pass~ on the 19th da,y of lunet A. D. 1956! Ordinance No. 500. determining that
it was desirable to sell a lease on certain lands ~wned by the City of La Portel
Texast and being a ~ortion of the La Porte Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS! said nOtice was given in the manner specified in said
Ordinance; and

IHEREASt sealed bids were received by the City Clerk of the City of
La Porte, at the City Hall, until 4:30 o'clock P. M. on the 6th day of lulYT

WHEREASt the City Commission of tbe City of La Porter Texasl at the

I then beingpresentr did sell to Cliff Hyde Flying Seryicef Inc. a lease on the

NOI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED' BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
LA PORTE, TEXAS,THAT: .
Settibn 1. The City of La Portel Texas does hereby accept the bid
of clid Hyde Fly:in.g Service, Inc. as the highest and best bid for a lease on
a portion of the La Porte Municipal Airportr on the following described tract
of land:

tOt and East ofr that tract of land described in that certain
lease 'betwee.n the City and'the United States of America) dated
the 19th day 01 October, A. D. 19481 covering the property now
known as th, Texas National G~ard Armory, and along Spencer High-
way South of the West-East runway. and more particularly de-
scribed as foll~wst to-wit:
Beginning a~ a point on the East boundary line of the said Texas
Air National Guard property and the North right-of-way line of
Spefi.~er ,Hig.hway;
Thence North 0021' East a distance of approximately 395 feet to
a point which is 200 feet South of the South line of the lest-East
runway;
Thence in ~n Easterly direction parallel to, and 200 feet from,
the South line of the said r~nway a distance of approximately
405 feet to a point fbr corner; .
