BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION" OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT: Section I. lh~re is hereby created a Board to be designated "City , . , of La Por'te AirportCommis'sion".herein sometimes referred to as the Airport Commission} for the :purpose of promoting the 'development of the Municipal Airpor t and the efficient operation thereof. and obtaining and enlarging commercial air- line carriage int,oand Hom the City 'of La Porte. The Airport Commission shall ~ consist of three (3) members, appOinted by the City Commission of the City of r , . , I La Porte. I Section 2. Eac'h member of the Airport Commission shall be a resident citizen of the City:of La Porte 1nd no person having any financial interest in any commeicial carrter by air. or in any concession1 right or privilege to con- I. duc.t any busine,ss ot render any service for compensation upon the premises of . the Municipal Airport shaH be eligible f.or membership on the Airport Commission : Section 3'. .The:)nitial .members ot the Airport Commission shall be ! .. .., i appointed 'to serve' until tbe 1st day of MaYt A.
