SAN ORDINANCE ANNULLING, CANCELLING AND REPEALING CERTAIN PROCEEDINGS HERETOFORE !,
±HAD IN THE MATTER OF CERTAIN PROPOSED EXTENSIONS OF THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
~OF LA PORTS AS COMMENCED BY ORDINANCE N0. 494, PASSED ON ITS FIRST READING ON
'THE 20TH DAY OF MARCH, A. D. 1956, AND AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 534, PASSED
'ON ITS FIRST READING ON THE 26th DAY OF MAF-CH, A. D. 1958, AND AS FURTHER AMENDED'
'°. BY ORDINANCE N0. 545, PASSED ON ITS FIRST READING ON THE 2ND DAY OF JULY, A. D.
;1958, ANNULLING, CANCELLING AND REPEALING EACH OF SAID ORDINANCES; PROVIDED THAT
;THIS SHALL NOT AFFECT THE POKIER OF THE CITY AND ITS COMMISSION BY ANY NEt~ OR
FURTHER PROCEEDINGS, TO ANNEX- TO THE CITY ALL OR ANY PART OF THE AREA PROPOSED
TO HAVE BEEN ANNEXED BY SAID ORDINANCE N0. 494, BY SAID ORDINANCE N0. 534, AND
5BY SAID ORDINANCE N0. 545.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 494, passed on its first reading by the

;;Commission of the City of La Porte on the 20th day of i~farch, A.
D. 1956, and
Ordinance No. 534, passed on its first reading on the 26th day of March, A. D.
1958, amending said Ordinance No. 494, and Ordinance No. 545, passed on its
first reading on the 2nd day of July, A. D. 1958, amending Ordinance No. 534,
;and each of the said ordinances, are hereby cancelled, annulled and repealed.
~~ Section 2. It is expressly provided that this ordinance cancelling, 3
;annulling and repealing each of the said three ordinances shall not affect in
;;any manner the power of the City of La Porte and its Commission, by any new or
!!further proceedings, to annex to the City all or any part of the area proposed
,~

';-to have been annexed by the three said ordinances,
'' Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
~`safter its passage and approval.
