~ ~ <br />• <br />ORDINANCE NO, ~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR BUILDING PERM1~IT5, ALTERATION <br />PERIgITS AND REPAIR PERMITS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND/OR PARTS OF ORDINAN- <br />CES IN CONFLICT THERE~JITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0~1i~1ISSI0N OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS, TEXAS, THAT: <br />Section 1. Each and every person, firm or corparation, hereafter ap- <br />• <br />plying for a building permit, a remodeling permit, or a repair permit, shall pay <br />to the City of La Porte a fee in such amount as follows: <br />(a) Building Permit: An amount of money equal to one and <br />one-half cents (1°2~) per square foot of floor space under <br />coverage, provided that the minimum fee shall be the sum of <br />Two and 5U/1Cu Sollars ($2.50) for such permit;' <br />(b) Permit for Repairs to Existing Buildings or Structures: <br />The sum of Two and 50/10% Dollars ($2.50); <br />(c) Remodeling or Repairs and Remodeling Permit: The sum <br />of Five Dollars ($5.00), and in addition thereto the sum of <br />one and one-half cents (1'~~) per square foot of any addition- <br />al floor space under coverage to be constructed. <br />Section 2. All ordinances and/or parts of ordinances in conflict with <br /> <br />f <br />the provisions of this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed to the extent of <br />such conflict only. <br />Section 3.
