J"8o AN ORDINANCE CALLING THE REGULAR BIENNIAL ELECTION OF THE CITY OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR POLLING PLACE: APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICIALS: PROVIDING FOR RETURN AND CANVASS OF VOTES OF SAID ELECTION: PROVIDING FOR NOTICE; PROVIDING FOR FILING FEES FOR CANDIDATES: AND SAVING CLAUSE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THA T : I 'I 1 Section 1. An election be held wi thin the corporate lim-'i its of the City of La Porte, Texas, on the 26th day of April, 1960; ~ such day being the fourth Tuesday in April, between seven o.clock . . (7:00) A. M. and seven o'clock (7:00) P. M., for the purpose of electing a Mayor and four (4) Commissioners of said City. Section 2. There shall be but one (1) polling place, which shall be the City Hall, located within the corporate limits of the City of La Porte, Texas. Section 3. MRS. H. M. RALSTON is hereby appoint- I ed Judge of said election, vms. or IS HARRISON and are hereby appointed Assistant Judges of said election, and liffiS. LOIS CO~WTON vms. REX BAKER and MRS.
