THE ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS <br />AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte has heretofore adopted <br /> <br />a Home Rule Charter authorizing it to annex territory and ex- <br /> <br />tend the corporate limits of said city by action of the City <br /> <br />Commission; and, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hereinafter described land is adjacent <br /> <br />to the present city limits of the City of La Porte and members <br />of the City Commission of the City of La Porte have concluded <br />that said area should be annexed and made a part of the City <br /> <br />of La Porte, Texas; <br /> <br />NOW', THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />LA PORTE, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following described territory be <br /> <br />and the same is hereby annexed to the City of La Porte, Texas, <br />and the boundary limits of the City of La Porte be, and the same <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />are hereby extended to include the following described territory <br /> <br />within the city limits of the City of La Porte, and the same shall <br /> <br />hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, <br /> <br />and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to al1 <br />rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of La Porte, <br /> <br />and they shall be bound by the acts, ordinC'illces, resoluti.ons and <br /> <br />regulati.ons of said city.
