BE IT ORDi-UNED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF L/.\ PORTE, TEX::B: Section 1. ~ny vehicle approaching San Jacinto Street traveling West on East H Street shall come to a complete stop before enterin2 the intersection of San Jacinto Street and East H Street and shall not proceed onto or across San Jacinto Street unless and until it is clear to the operator of the vehicle so stopped that there is no other vehicle approaching the intersection of San Jacinto Street at East H Street within a distance of 200 feet. Section 2. ~ny vehicle approaching San Jacinto Street tra ve 1 East on East G Street shall come to a complete stop before enterins the intersection of San Jacinto Street and East G Street and shall not proceed onto or across San Jacinto Street unless and until it is clear to the operator of the vehicle so stopped that there is no other vehicle approaching the intersection of San Jacinto Street at East G Street within a distance of 200 feet. Section 3. Section 11. Any vehicle approaching East Main Street travelin' North on San Jacinto Street shall come to a complete stop before entering the intersection 0[' San Jacinto Street and East Main Street and shall not proceed onto or across East Main Street unless and until it is clear to the operator of the vehicle so stopped that there is no other vehicle approaching the intersection of San Jacinto Street at East Main Street within a distance of 200 feet. Sectjon 12. ~ny person operating a vehicle who fails to bring said vehicle to a complete stop at a po~nt heretofore designated as a stop before entering an intersection shall be guilty of failing to stop and shall be fined nct less than $10.00 nor more than $200.00. Section 13. Any person operating a vehicle from a point hereto['ore designated as a stop, who proceeds into the intersection and at the time of entry onto the intersecting street, there is in ['act another vehicle approaching said intersection within a distance of less than 200 feet shall be guilty of negligently operating said vehicle and shall be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $200.00. Section 14. Any person operating a vehicle from a point heretofore designated as a stop, who proceeds into the intersection and his vehicle is involved in a collision, whether his vehicle is struck or is the striking vehicle, within the intersection or within 50 feet thereof shall be guilty of negligent collision and shall be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $200.00. Section 15. Should any section of this ordinance con- lict with any ordinance heretofore adopted by the C ty Commission of the City of La Porte, the terms and provisions of this ordinance . e Ordinance No. r6_ cJ4 PaQ'e Lj. o shall prevail and such conflicting portions of the prior ordinance ~ are hereby repealed. Section 16.
